Staging & Prep
Help buyers picture themselves living in your home
Most buyers see your home online before they ever walk through the door, so the first impression happens in the listing photos. Staging and a little preparation help your home photograph well, show well in person, and stand out from the competition. I'll walk through your home with you and recommend what's worth doing and what isn't.
Why staging helps
Better photos
Furniture, light and layout make rooms look larger and brighter online, where buyers decide what to tour.
Easier to picture
Neutral, well-placed furniture helps buyers imagine their own life in the space instead of seeing someone else's.
Shows how rooms work
Awkward or empty rooms get a clear purpose, like an office nook, a dining area, or a guest room.
Stronger first impression
A home that looks cared for signals fewer surprises, which can mean stronger offers and fewer days on the market.
Quick prep checklist
- Declutter counters, shelves and closets
- Remove personal photos and collections
- Deep clean, including windows and baseboards
- Fix small items: bulbs, leaks, loose handles
- Touch up paint in neutral tones
- Freshen curb appeal: mulch, mow, clean entry
- Open blinds and add bright, warm lighting
- Plan where pets and valuables go for showings
